What Is Curbox

Curbox is an Android app that helps you reduce your screen time. You can set limits, block distractions, and monitor your device use.

Main areas

Curbox has three main areas:

  • Usage shows your app use, website use, and short-form video use.
  • Focus blocks selected apps and websites during a timed session.
  • Reducers contains scheduled limits and prompts. Reducers can block apps, block content, or make an app less distracting.

How Curbox works

Curbox uses Android accessibility services to identify the app and content on the screen. When a configured rule applies, Curbox starts the action for that rule.

For example, Curbox can show a warning screen when you open a blocked app. Your warning-screen configuration controls how you can continue.

Curbox stores its data on your device. Curbox does not request the Android internet permission.
