The origin
Started by Nethical in April 2024, Curbox grew out of a simple observation: living a normal life today means being online, but being online shouldn't mean losing yourself to the feed. We build tools to help you stay focused and present.
Our mission
We build and distribute tools that curb screen time and digital addiction for people of all ages. As internet usage grows, staying connected to reality should not be a luxury.
Our founding principle is simple: software designed to reduce digital distraction must remain open and accessible to everyone so you can keep a balance between the virtual and the real.

How it works
Curbox uses Android's accessibility permissions to analyze your app-usage patterns and block apps based on your settings. Where other apps might compromise your data, Curbox keeps your usage analytics entirely on your device and the open-source codebase keeps that promise verifiable.
